This role sits at the center of two of the company's highest-growth bets: business agents (AI-powered agents that businesses deploy to sell, support, and engage customers on Meta's platforms) and paid messaging. You will own enterprise-level business development for these products: structuring and negotiating strategic deals with large partners and direct enterprise clients, and building the new partner ecosystem required for business agents to scale. This is a builder role. The playbooks are still being written, the partner categories are still being defined, and you will help decide both. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Legal, and Finance, and your deals will directly shape the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic, enterprise-focused deals with partners and clients that scale Meta's business agent business, from opportunity identification through negotiation and launch
• Structure and close paid messaging enterprise deals with large direct clients, owning commercial terms and long-term account economics
• Drive new ecosystem development: identify, evaluate, and onboard new partner types (platforms, ISVs, systems integrators, resellers, and developers) needed for the business agent enterprise business to scale
• Build the commercial frameworks, deal templates, and partner tiering models that let the business scale beyond one-off agreements
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate client and partner requirements into roadmap input, and to unblock technical dependencies in deals
• Develop and present business cases, deal economics, and pipeline reviews to senior leadership
• Represent Meta with C-level and senior enterprise stakeholders as a credible voice on both commercial strategy and product capability
Minimum Qualifications
• BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience
• 8+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development working with partners on technologies and bringing them to market
• 8+ years experience negotiating and structuring go-to-market, distribution and market entry terms in the US and globally in consumer electronic market
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Experience managing strategic business partnerships in. Enterprise SaaS or Cloud Platforms
• Technical understanding of AI applications in enterprise environments, including how AI-powered solutions integrate with enterprise software and workflows
• Familiarity with enterprise messaging, CRM, or customer engagement platforms
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• International or multi-market deal experience
• Experience in a high-growth environment where the commercial model was still being defined
