We are currently seeking a Business Development Coordinator in the Marketing department, reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager.

The role will reside in the New York office with hybrid work capabilities and will be responsible for helping drive the business development and marketing priorities for the firm's Corporate practice, with an emphasis on our Finance and Capital Solutions teams.

The ideal Business Development Coordinator is a creative, client-focused professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The role requires strong organization, follow-through, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Business Development Coordinator is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm's clients, attorneys, advisors and staff, and maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities of this position include :
  • Coordinate practice and industry-related sponsorships, events and memberships.
  • Assist with the ongoing collection, maintenance and accuracy of our experience database and league table reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of pitches, proposals, RFPs, and related business development and marketing presentations.
  • Write and maintain marketing collateral, including web content, pitch materials, attorney biographies and other marketing assets.
  • Maintain and update mailing lists in firm marketing database - Salesforce - to enable external communication.
  • Respond to various industry awards, surveys and directories.
  • Coordinate with appropriate internal resources to provide competitive intelligence reports and other research to lawyers.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing and Business Development team to facilitate information sharing and cross-selling initiatives.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related marketing experience, previous law firm or professional services experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working with transactional advisors preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, handle several projects at once, work independently and complete tasks under time pressure as necessary.
  • Strong work ethic and service orientation.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Poise, tact and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM.

The anticipated base salary range for this position in New York is $78,000 to $95,000. The actual salary offered will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, years of relevant experience, certifications or other professional licenses held, job-related knowledge and skills, business needs, and the location from which the work will be performed. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package, which may also include a full range of health and other insurance benefits, financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility), a discretionary bonus, and various paid time off benefits.
