Job Overview

The Business Development Manager, Nuclear Medicine will be commercial lead that is responsible to build and expand the presence in the US in the radiopharmaceutical and nuclear markets. This is a foundational role with a clear mandate to establish commercial footprint in the US and generate long-term growth through strategic market development.

This is not a traditional sales role. It is a market creation and infrastructure-driven position requiring technical depth, commercial excellence, and strong US market access.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
  • Develop the US market for radiopharmaceutical and nuclear solutions
  • Identify and develop opportunities in radiopharmaceutical production, nuclear medicine, and emerging isotope programs
  • Identify and develop opportunities in nuclear energy: National Laboratories, Defense, and other pertinent US markets
  • Build strong relationships with national labs, biotech, and radiopharma operators
  • Engage multiple stakeholders including engineering, operations, EHS, and procurement
  • Lead complex consultative sales and long-cycle projects
  • Translate technical requirements into tailored solutions
  • Position La Calhène and Getinge as a trusted partner for nuclear and radiopharma infrastructure
  • Build and leverage a strong US commercial network
  • Develop account-planning activities, monitor and update plan progress, submit updates and reports on schedule.
  • Provide market feedback and voice of customer to the BA R&D and innovation teams
  • Comply with all company SOPs, policies and procedures.
  • Foster and maintain a business climate that establishes, maintains, and expands positive and cooperative working relationships with potential customers and internal team members
  • Maintain personal competence for meeting job responsibilities through effective use of product information and technical data
  • Participate in conferences and trade shows
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in radiopharma, nuclear medicine, or capital equipment sales in the US
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Engineering, or Life Science or a similar technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience in application based conceptual and strategic selling capital equipment and/or consumables, and services while providing customer-centric solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in in RFP and RFQ preparation, analysis, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of radiopharma and nuclear medicine industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote a builder mindset, combining business development, technical understanding, and market access.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, strategic planning and scheduling skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to take initiative work independently and in a team environment.

The total compensation range (base plus at plan target incentive/commission) is between $180,000-210,000 per year with a monthly guarantee depending on experience and location. Company Vehicle Provided
