Full Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Business Change Analyst. The right candidate will work with the business and technology teams within DHIFS/D.R. Horton, Inc. to build awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement of change throughout the lifecycle of business change management. Will oversee implementation of assigned strategic projects and consult DHIFS leadership on all matters of business change management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Drive assigned corporate technology projects and process improvements and ensure alignment
  • Effectively communicate to all impacted stakeholders to build awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement of change
  • Partner with department leaders to monitor, document progress, implement solutions by effective date, and measure adoption for industry, investor, agency, regulator, and vendor change
  • Perform pre- and post-project ROI analysis to determine if projects delivered desire result, and if not, determine root cause
  • Support Business Unit Leaders (BUL) with Business Change Control (BCC) requests
  • Manage business messaging of enterprise-level projects while receiving business feedback for future process improvement
  • Manage a lessons-learned log for all projects for future enhancements to improve project success
  • Support the maintenance of enterprise-level business process workflow for all change and identify overlaps and gaps to drive efficiency
  • Deliver progress reports to the team members, executive-level staff, and project stakeholders
  • Perform necessary cost, risk and impact analyses for change, as applicable
  • Present business change management principals to DHIFS leaders, as needed
  • Communicate with external vendors, investors and agencies to explore future opportunities
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work a flex schedule as needed to meet project timelines
  • Ability to travel overnight


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 5+ years of related mortgage experience
  • 3+ years of project or change management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening skills to gain understanding of business needs, communicating to all levels of the organization verbally & written, presenting information, ideas and solutions in an effective manner
  • Ability to determine impacted stakeholders, host stakeholder meetings and driving consensus
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to quickly determine off-track projects and escalate as necessary
  • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively work with customers internally & externally
  • Strong time management skills. Ability to successfully work on more than one project at a time and constantly reevaluate their priorities and deadlines independently and with leadership
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism at all times, including impending deadlines
  • Strong adaptability and capability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Project/Planner


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources (HR), Management Information Systems (MIS) or related technical field is preferred
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) is preferred
  • Knowledge of DHIFS system vendors is preferred
