- Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements.
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management, enterprise resource planning systems, and human resources systems.
- Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems.
- Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, compliance and form of desired results.
- May assist with or lead upgrades, enhancements, data migrations, system configurations, and troubleshooting issues.
- Offer ongoing recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring that systems and processes remain efficient and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Perform Business Analyst, Technical - Mid duties for the DIA CIO Infrastructure Services program in accordance with approved technical, security, quality, configuration, and change-control processes.
- Coordinate assigned activities with Government representatives, program leadership, engineering, operations, cybersecurity, service owners, and other mission partners.
- Maintain accurate technical, operational, and status documentation; identify risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions affecting assigned work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required. A polygraph will be required for the position, and the employee must obtain and maintain all customer-mandated system and facility access.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an area applicable to the position plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- OR Qualifying education and experience combinations: HS/GED plus 8 years; associate plus 6 years; bachelor plus 4 years; master plus 2 years; PhD plus 0 years.
- Demonstrated mid-level proficiency performing Business Analyst, Technical - Mid responsibilities in classified or mission-critical information technology environments.
- Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts.
- Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated technical team.
- No legacy DoD 8570 baseline certification is identified for this position. If privileged-access or cybersecurity duties are assigned, the employee must satisfy the Government-designated DoD 8140 work-role qualification before performing those duties.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One or more of the following certifications are desired: CBAP or PMI-PBA, ITIL 4 Foundation, PMP.
- Current training and hands-on experience with the tools, platforms, and mission processes used by the assigned service lane are preferred.

We are seeking aBusiness Analyst, Technical - Mid to join our team supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract at Colorado. The DIA CIO Infrastructure Services program provides secure enterprise infrastructure engineering, operations, and technology-refresh support across classified environments. This mid PMO / Governance position performs government/business-hour mission support and supports reliable, secure, and mission-focused delivery in coordination with Government leads, program leadership, service lanes, and technical teams.

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
