Onsite - New YorkJob Description Seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Scrum Master with strong expertise in data projects, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management. The role involves translating business needs into data-driven solutions and delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria (BDD/Gherkin).
- Perform data analysis using SQL and support data validation.
- Lead end-to-end UAT, including planning, execution, and sign-off.
- Work within Agile teams; manage backlog using Jira.
- Engage senior stakeholders, manage priorities, and drive decisions.
- Develop dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure strong focus on end-user experience and usability.
Required Skills- 10+ years of BA experience, preferably in data projects
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) environments
- Hands-on UAT experience
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, Power BI
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred- Experience in finance / capital markets (equities)
- Knowledge of data warehousing / analytics ecosystems
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $86129 to $127189
