At Boston Scientific, we'll give you the opportunity to harness all that's within you by working in teams of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health industry challenges. With access to the latest tools, information and training, we'll help you in advancing your skills and career. Here, you'll be supported in progressing - whatever your ambitions.

About the role:
Magellan is a global business transformation program supporting Boston Scientific's transition from SAP ECC to S4 HANA. This initiative aims to simplify, standardize, and modernize our core business processes to better harness data insights and enable sustainable, profitable growth.

As the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business transformation across the Boston Scientific network, including manufacturing, divisional, and distribution sites. Reporting to the Product Owner for the Magellan Plan-to-Make Process Transformation, you will start by identifying long lead-time constraints and developing enterprise-wide solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams. As the program progresses, your focus will shift to supporting product teams through the design and build phases.

Additionally, you will help coordinate data conversion efforts for manufacturing data objects in collaboration with peers across the EMEA region. In this role, you will serve as the voice of the business, working closely with Magellan workstreams, strategic integration vendors, business process leads, subject matter experts, communities of practice, and other key stakeholders. The Magellan program spans multiple phases, including project solution confirmation, pre-project portfolio surge activity, requirements gathering, design, build and testing, deployment, and post go-live support.

Work mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Visa sponsorship:
Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Representing business users and translating requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, integration vendors, BSC business process leads, SMEs, and IT architects to build expertise across Plan to Make processes and applications
  • Partnering with training teams and site super users to develop and implement training plans across the manufacturing, divisional, and distribution network
  • Supporting data conversion efforts through validation activities pre- and post-deployment
  • Driving a cross-functional, collaborative organization to deliver Magellan Plan-to-Make process transformation
  • Aligning requirements, monitoring project progress, and coordinating efforts across design, build, testing, and deployment phases
  • Engaging stakeholders across global sites to adopt best practices and align business transformation goals with Plan to Make processes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve system and process efficiency within the scope of the program
  • Championing an inclusive work environment that promotes participation and performance
  • Ensuring compliance with the Quality Policy and maintaining high standards for patient safety and product quality

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
  • Five or more years of technical or operational supply chain experience, preferably within the medical device or a similarly regulated industry
  • Experience supporting major program introductions or system upgrades in an IT or business-focused role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and associated application ecosystems and interfaces
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives, system upgrades, or Lean Business Process efforts
  • Strong ability to communicate a strategic vision and engage cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in matrixed organizational structures with the ability to influence across functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively transfer knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for team meetings, collaboration, and on-site support across the network
