Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in business analysis within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EPIC systems and a proven track record of delivering high quality products that meet user needs and business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive product vision and execution.
Responsibilities
Years of Experience: 10 15 Years - Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and priorities.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation within the healthcare sector.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement product strategies that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform future iterations and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all product development activities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Mandatory Skills - Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in the healthcare domain.
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with EPIC systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and product management practices.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with other healthcare IT systems and technologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience in user experience (UX) design principles.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 15 years of experience in business analysis and product ownership, with a focus on healthcare.
- Proven track record of successful product delivery and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and emerging trends.
