Business Analyst- Tier 3 (Development Services)

This position will perform a key role in providing solutions to policies, practices, methods and procedures to achieve stellar service delivery. The job requires maintenance and oversight of all Standard Operating Procedures and Business Intelligence platforms to continually measure levels of service, key performance indicators and customer satisfaction. It also calls to engage all business partners and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands. The position will work closely with the business and the technology partners to gather requirements and achieve expected results.

Representatives Duties
  • Conduct major projects involving work measurement studies, management control, plans of service, mapping processes, workload analyses and other aspects of the department operation to improve service delivery
  • Implement and maintain the department's Standard Operating Procedures
  • Coordinate the development of standard service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) with department units and stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain Business Intelligence Dashboards and provide reports as requested by Senior Management.
  • Gather Business Requirements and collaborate with Enterprise Project Management Office to implement business needs and conditions.
  • Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management, Information Technology and other stakeholders in the implementation of software solutions

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business management/administration, Information Management System, Public Administration, Finance or related field


Experience
  • Five years of professional experience in the development, implementation, business process analysis and evaluation of business methods, procedures and business data

    OR
  • An equivalent combination of education (not less than a high school diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above.
  • Experience managing business intelligence software and dashboards such as Microsoft Power-BI or equivalent software solution (preferred)
