Business Analyst, Conferences Sales Operations

As we continue to grow and expand Gartner Conferences portfolio, we need to develop our sales operations and resources to accommodate the requirements of the rapidly growing business.

This role will be a part of the Conferences Sales Operations team and will be responsible for supporting reporting activities, operations reviews, and preparing presentations, documenting processes, and providing data support for strategic decision making.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly sales operational reporting and presentations (stacks, forecast, trending, gateways, etc.)
  • Prepare executive-level analytics and presentation materials for leadership team
  • Collaborate with peers to support building operations, reviews data and insights for senior stales leaders. analytical models for sales analysis and insights
  • Support annual year-end planning, including territory management and planning, quota support and reporting.
  • Validate large operational data sets to develop KPIs, analytical dashboards to improve decision making that drives business performance
  • Address ad-hoc operational data requests


Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters is a plus, preferably in analytics, quantitative, or finance discipline
  • 2+ years of business experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI: ability to build moderately complex decision support models, salesforce experience is a plus
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong core values: integrity, collaboration, no-limits mindset, objectivity
  • Ability to thrive and deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a positive outlook when faced with challenges
  • Salesforce experience preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 100,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
