Position Description:

We are seeking a highly capable Business Analyst to support enterprise wide federal financial and acquisition management systems. In this role, you will help federal clients optimize mission critical procurement, financial, and assistance workflows by translating business needs into actionable system and process improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to work across complex financial and acquisition environments, strengthen operational integrity, and drive modernization within large federal enterprises.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Partner with contracting, program, budget, and financial stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements across federal acquisition and assistance lifecycle activities.
. Support enterprise federal financial and acquisition systems, including functional configuration, workflow analysis, testing, data validation, and system troubleshooting.
. Translate business requirements into user stories, process maps, data models, SOPs, and acceptance criteria for development and operational teams.
. Review and refine acquisition and assistance artifacts such as requirement packages, pre award and post award documentation, financial tracking inputs, and compliance materials.
. Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements that enhance auditability, data quality, acquisition efficiency, and overall system performance.
. Assist with integration activities between core financial systems and feeder applications, contributing to improved reconciliations, reporting, and operational transparency.
. Support change management, stakeholder communications, training content, and end user enablement for system or process updates.
. Provide routine status updates, risk assessments, issue documentation, and recommendations to technical and project leadership.

. Experience supporting federal acquisition and assistance processes (e.g., procurement planning, funding actions, contract and agreement administration, obligations and financial tracking).
. Direct functional experience with Unison PRISM (requisitions, approvals, workflow, acquisition package development, data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting).
. Experience supporting enterprise federal financial or acquisition systems (e.g., CGI's Momentum Financials).
. Strong analytical abilities and experience developing requirements, use cases, user stories, or business process documentation.
. Knowledge of federal financial management concepts, data structures, and audit/compliance principles.
. Ability to interpret policy and translate it into system and operational implications.
. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with technical teams and federal stakeholders.
. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and operate within fast paced environments.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
. Experience with system modernization efforts, cloud or SaaS implementations, or enterprise integration initiatives.
. Familiarity with federal budget execution processes, reimbursable agreements, or financial reconciliation activities.
. Understanding of federal IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, ATO processes).
. Experience developing training materials, facilitation guides, or end user documentation.
. Professional certifications in project management, business analysis, financial management, or acquisitions (e.g., PMP, CBAP, CGFM, FAC C/PPM).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 $153,300.00.
