Position Description:

The Business Analyst (BA) plays a central role in transforming our Project Management Office into a 2PMO as a Service2 model. Acting as a true bridge builder, he/she does not merely document requests: he/she listens, questions, and analyzes the real challenges faced by business units in order to translate them into solutions that generate measurable value. In a constantly evolving market, the BA actively leverages new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to optimize processes. He/she ensures perfect alignment between business vision and technical execution by working in close collaboration with the Practice Lead, Functional Analyst, and BI Developer, thereby ensuring that the PMO solves the right problems for the right internal clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Consultation and requirements gathering: Act as a strategic partner to business units to understand their pain points. Gather real needs by probing beyond the initial requests and structure this information into clear and actionable specifications.
. Value and performance definition (OKR/KPI): Require and quantify the business value of each initiative before its launch. Collaborate with management and internal clients to define, implement, and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) measuring project success and PMO effectiveness.
. Innovation and efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities to integrate solutions based on new technologies in order to automate low value added tasks, optimize business processes, and increase overall efficiency.
. Process modeling and optimization: Map current state business processes (As Is) and design target state processes (To Be) by eliminating bottlenecks, while positioning the PMO service catalog as a business solution.
. Operational synergy and alignment: Orchestrate the translation of business needs to the internal team: validate the methodological approach with the Practice Lead, structure data requirements with the BI Developer, and provide precise requirements to the Functional Analyst for system configuration.

. Influential and strategic leadership: Ability to position the PMO as a value added service provider, influence stakeholders without formal authority, and actively support organizational change.
. Critical and analytical thinking: Ability to challenge the status quo, identify the root cause of business problems, and support recommendations with evidence based data.
. Technological curiosity and innovation: Strong interest in the evolution of emerging technologies (including AI) and a general understanding of their potential applications to optimize business processes, without requiring deep technical expertise.
. Communication excellence: Superior ability to act as a translator between complex technical concepts and strategic business issues, thereby facilitating shared understanding during workshops and working sessions.
. Business analysis expertise: Ability to map processes, write clear requirements, and build compelling Business Cases.
. Education: Bachelor27s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline. A business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI PBA) is considered an asset.
. Years of experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in an organizational transformation context or within a PMO.
. Proficiency with daily tools: Process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart), project management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence), and familiarity with data analysis concepts.
. Language requirements: The role requires daily interaction with French speaking and English speaking stakeholders. Full bilingual proficiency (spoken and written) is required.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. Calculating this range depends on several factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, training, and professional certifications. Remuneration decisions depend on the particularities of each situation. A reasonable estimate of this range is between $60,000 and $110,000. This position is vacant.
