Business Analyst 2DESCRIPTION OF SERVICESClient requires the services of 1 Business Analyst 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Business Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.
The following describes the work that will be done by Business Analyst Level 2:
Support current Client projects and priorities in the facilitation of gathering themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria and analysis of existing requirements documentation. Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities. Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model.
Required- 4 Years - Experience in the field or related field as a senior level Business Analyst (technical/emerging technology)
- 4 Years - Experience with a basic working knowledge of Agile project management methodology/practices
Preferred- 1 Year - Experience understanding and documentation of use cases.
- 1 Year - Experience process documentation mapping
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- Creating themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria according to Agency standards.
- Convert existing use cases to actionable user stories/epics/acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Analyze existing process documentation and document potential opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support development and implementation of various initiatives.
