Full Job Description
Verizon recently acquired Frontier and plans to transition non-union Frontier employees into Verizon compensation and benefits programs. This position will be part of that planned transition.

Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive data analysis projects, employing techniques such as regression analysis, predictive modeling, and other statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and causal relationships.
  • Design and conduct complex data studies and experiments, interpreting results to provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of PowerBI for advanced data analytics, including the integration of statistical tools and methodologies.
  • Develop and refine metrics and KPIs that align with business objectives, using advanced data analysis to validate and adjust these metrics as needed.
  • Facilitate the extraction and manipulation of large and complex datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data sources.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection procedures and improve the quality of analytics.
  • Champion a data-driven culture within the organization, providing training and guidance on data analysis and interpretation to team members and other departments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in data analytics and business intelligence, continuously exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance our analytical capabilities.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Analytics, Advanced Physics, STEM or Business related Major, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in hands-on data analytics, including model building and statistical analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience in automating reporting and analysis through various BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableau and Power Automate.
  • 3+ years of experience using Excel and SQL at an advanced level.
  • Experience with transforming and cleaning data with R or Python preferred.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and implementing new databases preferred.
