Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

Help

  • You will perform functions consisting of acquisition planning, program management, and all aspects of contract management within the Branch.
  • You will execute strategies to manage contractor performance, compile acquisition packages, and overseeing the full life cycle of procurements within the Branch
  • You will serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative within the Branch, responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of contract execution across complex contracts.
  • You will track performance, deliverables, financial execution, and perform quantitative analysis of contract contractor performance.
  • You will evaluate program performance and financial execution using advanced analytical models, implementing targeted improvements to ensure the Branch achieves its strategic goals and benchmarks within resource constraints.
  • You will perform a wide array of financial planning and budget execution, activities, ensuring proper use of allocated appropriations across all execution venues to meet benchmarks and meet overarching Branch goals.
  • You will support cross functional synchronization across multi-disciplined teams, integrate actions across financial acquisition and engineering teams and assist in the achievement of procurement milestones to achieve acquisition timelines.
  • You will assist budget executors with the day-to-day execution, reconciliation, and tracking of allocated funding.
  • You will develop and recommend financial strategies to maximize effective utilization of allocated dollars and ensure compliance with established policies and processes across both Government and contractor work performers.


Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing contractor performance, performing budget tracking, performing data analysis, and supporting acquisition planning.

This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business Management & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
