Job Description:Department OverviewWithin TD Technology, the Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) is dedicated to support the Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) department creating models, financial systems, applications and processes required to support various functional teams in TBSM including Liquidity Risk Management (both Retail and Wholesale), Non-Trading Market Risk and Cash Management.
As regulators and the industry significantly ratchet up the focus on Liquidity, this opportunity provides the one with the ability to be in at the ground level and to help lead the TD Wholesale Liquidity program forward. The ideal candidate is a passionate business systems analyst who enjoys experimenting with new technologies and solutioning across all areas within the bank.
Job Description About This Role Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) is looking for a Business Systems Analyst Specialist (BSA) to join the Wholesale Liquidity Technology team. The ideal candidate has solid understanding of Liquidity reporting regulations, expertise operating as a business systems analyst on Liquidity projects, a background working within technology teams in understanding and translating business requirements to the technology development process. They should possess strong understanding of Liquidity, have strong leadership and communication skills, be passionate about driving the system analysis needed to shape the bank's Liquidity reporting direction and can excel at being the point liaison between business and our technology team.
As part of this role, you'll also provide expert advice, research, analysis and design of test plans, related strategies and test processes that are appropriate to the application, solution, project and/or business unit and develop test strategies for highly complex and multi-faceted projects.
Sitting in this position will help expand your knowledge, strengthen your expertise and introduce you to the inner workings of our Treasury alongside a team of seasoned, diversely-skilled technology and finance professionals. Our team is made up of dynamic and strong technical leads, developers, and BSA's who build and maintain critical technology platforms in an Agile environment. You'll be exposed to stretch assignments as you take on large-scale, complex and/or enterprise-wide projects.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform: - Transform business requirements and research into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.
- Participate in complex applications and systems development.
- Propose solution options; generate stakeholder support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on project estimates.
- Produce top-notch functional, technical and user interface designs.
- Take business, Enterprise Architecture, system performance and development standards requirements, then develop functional, technical, user interface designs and test plans for an application and/or system.
- Coordinate testing and release planning and support with partners (e.g. business, Infrastructure).
- Coordinate code deployments, maintenance upgrades and project testing across numerous environments on various technology platforms.
- Contribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures,
- Review technical deliverables for quality throughout detailed design and development phase, identify gaps or redesign as needed.
- Define metrics and performance goals with technology partners and peers.
- Respect TD's technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines, business technology architecture, and risk and production capacity - this includes thorough project requirements, documentation, scope estimates and costs.
- Identify ways to minimize cost, play a role in introducing strategic solutions to support cost effectiveness and enhance stakeholder experience.
- Identify and address any issue that affects the integrity of the application ( e.g. cross-capability/release issues).
- Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
- Coach colleagues and act as a reference for the software development life cycle.

- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
- 10+ years relevant experience.
- Hands on experience in doing analysis in Liquidity Reporting / Risk Management and Capital Markets.
- Experience and strong knowledge in writing complex SQL statements.
- Data mappings and transformations across multiple systems.
- Strong keenness in completing the data onboarding and analysis by validating/testing with business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Jira, and Confluence).
- Sound to advanced knowledge of business analysis principles and project lifecycles.
- Commitment to applying advanced to expert knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise, including design, development, testing and project management.
- Advanced to expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.
- Talent in identifying risks both within and across projects and recommending ways to mitigate them.
- Strength at managing and directing activities related to analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support of technical business solutions on larger projects.
- Commitment to and beliefs in the quality of your deliverables.
