Position OverviewAs a Business Analytics Senior Manager within PNC's Data Products organization, you will be based in either Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
The Business Analytics Manager Senior will lead the establishment, maturity, and ongoing management of the Controls Organization within the Strategic Data Products team. This leadership role is accountable for defining and executing the Control Hub strategy, driving control governance, expanding enterprise control coverage, and advancing reporting and analytics capabilities that support operational effectiveness, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will develop a scalable control operating model aligned with PNC's workforce strategy, enabling sustainable growth of Control Hub capabilities while reducing reliance on manual reporting, increasing automation, and enhancing business transparency through actionable data and insights.
This position requires a combination of strategic leadership, business analytics expertise, control framework experience, data management knowledge, and stakeholder engagement skills to influence business, risk, technology, and operations partners.

Key Responsibilities
Controls Organization Leadership
• Develop and lead the Strategic Data Products Controls Organization supporting Control Hub and related control management processes.
• Establish governance frameworks, operating procedures, and roles and responsibilities for control creation, onboarding, monitoring, remediation, and decommissioning.
• Create a sustainable workforce model aligned with PNC's workforce strategy and business objectives.
• Define organizational priorities, capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics for the controls function.
• Build partnerships across Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Audit, and business organizations.
Control Hub Strategy & Expansion
• Own the strategic roadmap for Control Hub enhancement, modernization, and adoption across business domains.
• Identify opportunities to expand Control Hub coverage, onboarding new controls, data sources, and business capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement of detective controls, exception management processes, and control effectiveness.
• Partner with technology teams to prioritize and deliver Control Hub platform enhancements.
• Promote scalable, data-driven controls that improve risk detection and operational oversight.
Analytics, Reporting & Automation
• Lead the development and optimization of executive dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
• Direct Tableau strategy, governance, and reporting standards to ensure consistent, actionable insights.
• Establish KPI, KRI, and control effectiveness reporting frameworks.
• Identify and eliminate manual reporting processes through automation and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Develop reporting solutions that provide visibility into control performance, exception trends, remediation activities, and operational health.
Risk & Control Management
• Ensure alignment of Control Hub capabilities with enterprise risk management and control frameworks.
• Oversee control inventories, documentation standards, and evidence management processes.
• Support audit, regulatory, and compliance initiatives through strong control governance and reporting.
• Drive root cause analysis efforts and remediation strategies for recurring control exceptions.
• Monitor effectiveness metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Workforce Development & Leadership
• Build and develop a high-performing team of analysts, reporting specialists, and control management professionals.
• Establish career development pathways and workforce planning strategies.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor team members while promoting data literacy and analytical excellence.

Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Risk Management, Data Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business analytics, controls management, risk management, data governance, or operational excellence.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and strategic initiatives.
• Experience leading enterprise reporting, dashboarding, and analytics programs.
• Advanced Tableau experience, including dashboard design, governance, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of control frameworks, operational risk management, governance, and audit processes.
• Proven experience driving process automation and reducing manual operational activities.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
Preferred
• Experience with financial services, banking, or regulated industries.
• Experience developing control management programs or platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, Oracle, Python, SQL, Dataiku, or cloud-based analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of workforce planning and organizational design principles.
