Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution; post-graduate in structural engineering is a plus.
• 4-6 years' progressive experience in Structural engineering.
• Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA.
• Strong self-development and continuous learning commitment.
• Experience in structural analysis and behavior; building design experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction methods.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team player, capable of working independently.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver various building projects throughout Alberta.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and maintain relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct structural analysis and evaluate structural behavior.
• Assist in the preparation of design documents and project reports.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers as part of continuous development efforts.
• Engage in project management tasks to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
