$95,000 - $119,000Reporting to the N.A. Brand Director for Defender & Discovery, the Brand Strategy Specialist is the guardian and architect of the brand. This role exists to define, articulate, and evolve the brand strategy ensuring a clear, differentiated brand that guides everything the business does. They are the heart and soul of the brand, translating insight into powerful brand ideas that drive long-term growth. They lead the commercialization strategy and program management to bring the brand to life.
What you will be doing:- Support with defining and articulating the brand strategy, positioning, purpose, and personality
- Lead brand research, including consumer insight, cultural trends, and competitive analysis
- Identify opportunities for differentiation, segmentation, and growth within the market
- Develop brand frameworks, narratives, and strategic platforms that guide execution
- Set clear brand goals and success measures in partnership with planning teams
- Act as the brand authority, ensuring strategic consistency across all initiatives
- Ideate and develop new business models and commercial concepts for representing the brand in market
- Formulate new partnerships and bring new partner brands into our client-facing ecosystem
- Translate brand strategy into actionable plans and prioritized initiatives
- Brief and inspire internal teams and agencies with strong, insight-led brand direction
- Program manage brand building and revenue generating programs
- Work with our centers of excellence to ensure deployment of strategy and priorities align to the brand intent
- Build business cases, including financial analysis, ROI, risks, and assumptions
- Define scope, requirements, timelines, and success metrics for brand initiatives
- Assess trade-offs and recommend where to invest for maximum impact
- Create briefs for centres of excellence to provide clarity, impact and objective of programs, enabling clear prioritization and execution
- Track performance against plans and feed learning back into future planning
- Support the development of retailer engagement and training programs from a brand perspective (e.g., brand experience, training, showroom cues, messaging)
- Develop and maintain the US brand narrative, messaging frameworks, and "ways we show up" guidance
- Maintain the brand calendar, milestone trackers, and planning documents
What you will need:- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of automotive/in a brand role or modern luxury environment
- Strong strategic brand thinking and storytelling ability
- Experience with brand research, insight generation, and competitive positioning
- Ability to turn complex insights into clear, motivating ideas
- Confident communicator and influencer across teams
- Creative thinking and problem solver
- Comfortable working upstream, shaping strategy as well as execution
- Good analytical capability
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
