POSITION: Sales Incentive Planning ManagerLOCATION: Mississauga, CanadaRECRUITMENT RANGE: $91,000-$118,000 CADReporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Sales Incentive Planning Manager plays a critical role in shaping Jaguar Land Rover Canada's retail performance. This role is responsible for leading sales incentive planning, market-driven forecasting, incentive strategy, and retailer performance management. The manager will leverage industry data, competitive insights, and robust analytics to drive short- and long-term incentive plans that directly influence production requirements and retail sales performance.
What you will be doing:- Variable Marketing & Incentives Planning (VME)
- Lead the design, approval, and execution of incentive and marketing program strategies aligned to retail sales objectives and forward-looking demand signals.
- Analyze competitive incentive activity and market conditions to recommend programs that strengthen competitiveness and optimize ROI.
- Partner with Finance to align program development with budget targets and financial governance requirements.
- Oversee timely communication and publication of monthly program updates to the retailer network.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through detailed performance analyses, identifying opportunities to improve sales lift and market share.
- Deliver month-end sales reporting and ensure accuracy of incentive results and payments.
- Manage audit processes to maintain program compliance and operational integrity.
- Set and monitor retail incentive strategies ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment to market potential.
- Oversee retailer export thresholds, customer lists, export reporting, and chargeback processes.
- Support the annual business planning process, conducting market, industry, and competitive assessments to inform share projections and long-range planning.
- Support monthly product mix reviews with House of Brands leadership to optimize profitability, improve production efficiency, and enhance incentive allocation.
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence gathering to monitor segment trends, size, and competitive dynamics, supporting both current-year and long-range segment forecasting.
- Develop high-quality analytics, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations for senior leadership and global stakeholders.
What you will need:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience within the automotive industry.
- Expertise in automotive retailer operations and wholesale/retail sales processes.
- Strong working knowledge of market evaluation tools (e.g., Autodata, JD Power PIN, POLK/IHS).
- Demonstrated experience in sales planning, forecasting, or market analytics.
- Advanced analytical and data management skills; ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience preparing executive-level deliverables.
- Proven leadership, influencing capabilities, and ability to partner effectively across an organization and retailer network.
- Knowledge of automotive incentive programs and sales operations processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant analytical tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors.
