You Are: You are a seasoned
brand strategy director with pharmaceutical experience who can quickly step into a complex HCP business and lead from day one. You combine strategic rigor with practical execution, translating business challenges into clear brand direction that inspires clients and creative teams alike.
Reporting to the SVP, Strategy Director, you'll partner across Strategy, Client Solutions, Medical, Creative, and Engagement to shape omnichannel HCP marketing across personal and non-personal promotion. You'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor, helping clients solve business problems while ensuring every deliverable is grounded in a clear strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Manage the day-to-day strategic workload across HCP workstreams (NPP and PP), ensuring briefs - including client project briefs - and deliverables are clear, cohesive, and strategically sound
- Translate high-level brand strategy into actionable guidance for creative development, maintaining alignment from strategy through execution
- Frame thinking in its proper context
- Isolate the real business problems a brand and communications can affect
- Isolate the roles of the brand, communication and communication channels within business plans - thinking for tomorrow and not just today
- Have a deep understanding of the client business and what makes it tick
- Serve as a strong, confident strategic voice with clients - able to present, defend, and evolve strategic recommendations in real time
- Lead development of key strategic outputs, including audience insights and messaging frameworks
- Proactively propose strategies to help clients achieve their goals by studying a client's challenges, thoroughly understanding the category and customers, and proposing business-changing strategies and multichannel solutions
- Collaborate with the full team to ensure that creative, engagement, and content solutions are on strategy and properly integrated within the larger marketing program
- Be a catalyst for better ideas; bring people and disciplines together to create the best, most effective work for the brand and audiences

Here's what you'll need: - 8+ years of brand strategy or relatable experience in an agency setting
- 5+ years:
- in a strong creative agency, including working on non-pharma categories (e.g., CPG)
- HCP experience
- Strong client-facing presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience developing positioning, messaging, customer journeys, and creative briefs.
- Must work EST/CST schedule
- Some travel may be required based on business and client needs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
