Full Job Description
Role Overview: The Brand President is the senior executive responsible for the strategy, performance, and growth of The Bar Method. This leader oversees franchise operations, education and technique, marketing, customer experience, digital offerings, and business development to strengthen brand performance and franchisee success across the system. Working closely with enterprise partners, franchise owners, and shared services teams, the Brand President will shape the next phase of growth while protecting the premium experience, quality standards, and brand positioning that define The Bar Method. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven, growth-oriented executive who brings strong franchise or multi-unit leadership experience, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead through scale and change. Key Responsibilities: Set the strategic direction for the brand Lead the long-term vision, growth strategy, and annual business plan for The Bar Method, translating enterprise priorities into clear actions that strengthen brand performance, franchisee outcomes, and market relevance. Drive organizational alignment and performance Lead the brand organization with clarity and accountability. Oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, using metrics and operating rhythms to track results and accelerate execution. Lead franchise operations and field support Improve system-wide performance, studio-level profitability, and franchisee engagement by overseeing field operations, standards, new studio openings, and ongoing business support. Champion education, training, and technique Oversee onboarding, instructor development, certification, and continuing education while ensuring a consistent, high-quality brand experience across all studios. Grow the brand and customer experience Guide brand marketing, member acquisition, retention, and customer experience strategies across studio and digital touchpoints, including online offerings, to deepen loyalty and expand the brand's reach. Own business performance Lead the brand with full accountability for performance, including P&L management, budget planning, forecasting, resource allocation, and data-driven decision making to improve growth and profitability. Partner across the enterprise Work closely with cross-functional leaders in marketing, finance, legal, human resources, technology, compliance, and development to deliver business goals and support franchisee success. Profile: Strong executive presence and the ability to lead with both strategic perspective and operational discipline. Deep understanding of franchise or multi-unit business models and customer-facing service environments. Proven financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance. A track record of scaling businesses, leading change, and improving results through clear priorities and accountability. Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with franchise owners, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional partners. A data-driven, action-oriented leadership style and a passion for brand stewardship, team development, and customer experience. Qualifications: 12-15+ years of progressive executive leadership experience in franchise, fitness, retail, hospitality, consumer services, or other multi-unit operating environments. Demonstrated success leading large-scale business operations with full P&L responsibility and consistently delivering growth, profitability, and operational performance. Experience developing and executing strategic plans, leading organizational change, and building high-performing teams. Strong background in operations management, business planning, forecasting, and cross-functional leadership. Franchise leadership experience is strongly preferred. Experience in fitness, wellness, boutique fitness, membership-based, or premium service brands is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.
