LOGISTEED America is seeking an experienced
Branch Manager to lead our Vancouver, WA brokerage operations. This leadership position provides the opportunity to oversee customs brokerage activities, manage a talented team, ensure regulatory compliance, drive operational excellence, and contribute directly to company growth.
As a Branch Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to achieve business objectives while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, international trade requirements, and customer service standards. What You'll Do Leadership & Operations• Lead and manage daily Customs Brokerage operations
• Develop and coach a high-performing team
• Drive operational efficiency and process improvement
• Ensure achievement of departmental performance goals
• Foster a culture based on respect, accountability, and collaboration
• Support strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts
Customs Brokerage & Compliance Classify imported commodities and provide tariff guidance
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other government regulations
• Guide customers through customs clearance processes
• Manage post-entry activities including:
• CF 28 Responses
- Protests
- Drawbacks
- Prior Disclosures
- Post Summary Corrections (PSC)
- Ruling Requests
• Assist with projects involving:
- Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)
- Container Freight Stations (CFS)
- Customs Entry Data Management
- Regulatory Compliance Programs
• Stay informed of changes in international trade regulations and customs requirements
Customer & Business Development• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Resolve complex customer concerns professionally
• Partner with sales teams to identify growth opportunities
• Educate customers regarding:
- Customs regulations
- International tariffs
- Trade compliance
- Shipping restrictions
- Insurance requirements
Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications• Active U.S. Customs Broker License (Required)
• 5+ years of Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarding experience
• Experience managing import operations and customs compliance programs
• Progressive leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams
• Strong knowledge of:
- U.S. Customs Regulations
- Import Compliance
- Tariff Classification
- Freight Forwarding Operations
- Trade Compliance
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
