Data sits at the core ofBizBuySellvalueconnecting buyer intent, listing quality, broker performance, traffic, and conversion outcomes across a complex multisided marketplace.We are searching forafull-timeLeadData Analyst to joinour teamtoact as the seniormost individual contributor for analytics within theBizBuySellproduct organization. This role will own marketplacelevel analytics, define analytical standards, and drive insight thatshapesproduct strategy, monetization, and broker success. This is not a reportingonly role. You willoperateas an analytics strategist and architect, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership to answer the most ambiguous and consequential questions facing the business. As we expand our use of AI both internally and in customer-facing features, you willhelp assemble the datasetsthat power those capabilities.
This positionis located inSan Francisco andis 5days onsite.
Responsibilities
- Define and own coreoperational metricsand define core metricsto measure impact of enhancements, assess risks and drive revenue growth
- Acquireand clean data from multiple sources; develop queriesin order toconduct analysis and create business performance dashboards
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand user behavior, producttrendsand areas of opportunityfor major product initiatives (e.g., pricing, packaging, listing upgrades, broker tooling, experimentation)
- Partner with Product and Exec leadership to inform roadmap prioritization and investment decisions, employing visualization and statistical tools to deliver business insights
- Establish standards fordata quality, metric definitions, experimentation analysis, and dashboard design
- Design andmaintaincanonicaldatasets and semantic models used across Product, Growth, and Sales
- Own the data models and analytical foundations that power AIdriven product experiences
- Reduce adhoc analytics load by building scalable selfservice tooling and documentation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person University or College
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 8+ years of experience as a data analyst.
- AdvanceExpert-levelSQLand,Exceland Pythonskills.
- Expertise withbusiness intelligence software (i.e.Power BI,Looker, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skillsable to explain nuanced findings to nontechnical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working withdata at scale in platforms likeDatabricks,BigQuery,andSnowflakein an AWS environment.
- Knowledge ofweb analytics tools (i.e.Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
- Exposure in performing data analysis and providing insights for high-traffic SaaS products, particularly withmulti-sided marketplaces,conversionfunnels, andcohort analysis.
- Experience designing analytical datasets used in AI, machinelearning, or rulesbased optimization systems (e.g., scoring, ranking, recommendation, or classification).
- Expertise withstatistical analysis and data manipulation in Python.

Salary: This position offers an annual base salary range of $123,000 - $175,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
