Responsibilities*
Develop computational methods, tools & algorithms for mass spectrometry-based proteomics data analysis; design and implement new FragPipe modules for DIA and metaproteomics analysis; maintain and improve existing FragPipe modules, including debugging and software updates; support Proteomics Core collaborations with bioinformatics analysis and data interpretation; collaborate on proteogenomics studies by performing multi-omics data analysis; Generate scientific manuscripts and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications*
Ph.D in Bioinformatics or closely related field + 3 years of post-doctoral experience in mass spectrometry-based computational proteomics and software development, including developing tools or algorithms for proteomics data analysis; programming in Java; and publishing at least 3 published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of mass-spectrometry-based computational proteomics.
