Are you passionate about data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies? Canadian Bearings is seeking a BI & AI Solutions Developer to help shape the future of our reporting, automation, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Reporting to the Data Services & BI Manager, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, enterprise reporting, data integrations, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled tools that support strategic and operational objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to transform complex business and product data into meaningful insights and scalable solutions that drive performance and innovation.

What You'll Own (Day-to-Day)

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for business improvement
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and quality across enterprise systems and reporting platforms
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, reporting datasets, and analytical models
  • Design, manage, and optimize ETL processes and data integrations between internal and external systems
  • Support the organization's data warehouse, reporting infrastructure, and business intelligence environment
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals
  • Evaluate systems, processes, and data structures to identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, documentation, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, data inconsistencies, and system-related challenges in a timely manner
  • Utilize AI, automation, and advanced analytics technologies to improve reporting efficiency, forecasting, and decision-making capabilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting, analytics, product information management, and other data-driven initiatives


Who You Are (Must-Have)

  • University degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data management, or a related role
  • Strong SQL Server development and database management experience
  • Experience working with NetSuite ERP, including reporting, saved searches, data extraction, and analytics
  • Experience with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), or similar enterprise analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, data integration, and reporting architecture
  • Experience developing enterprise reporting, dashboarding, and business intelligence solutions
  • Knowledge of master data management and product information management (PIM) concepts
  • Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, reporting, or scripting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, generative AI, or AI-driven business solutions
  • Experience within industrial distribution, MRO, manufacturing, or industrial products environments

Compensation

$100,000 - $120,000

Canadian Bearings provides the salary range for this role to promote pay equity and transparency.
