KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Manage daily administration of all benefits programs, including health and welfare, retirement (401(k)), disability, and leave of absence for approximately 1,500 employees.
  • Lead vendor and broker relationships, including renewals, plan design, and service delivery.
  • Oversee annual open enrollment, including planning, communications, and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations (ERISA, DOL, ACA), including audits, reporting (Form 5500), and non-discrimination testing.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant plan documentation, including SPDs and required employee communications.
  • Manage leave programs (FMLA, STD) in partnership with third-party administrators.
  • Partner with 401(k) recordkeepers and vendors to ensure plan accuracy and resolve employee inquiries.
  • Provide guidance and resolution for complex or escalated employee benefits issues.
  • Collaborate with HRIS/payroll teams (ADP, Workday) to ensure accurate system administration and support process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain benefits policies and support key projects and initiatives.
