Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Benefits Manager to join our team in our Memphis, TN office. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects across the globe.

The Benefits Manager will lead the design, implementation, and administration of company benefits and retirement programs in an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration at all levels. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
  • Oversee the administration and compliance of all North America benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, and wellness offerings.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits-supporting and mentoring the HR team to ensure clear, accurate communication with employees. Act as the primary contact for complex benefits inquiries, including FMLA and disability cases.
  • Partner with benefits consultants and vendors to ensure effective plan administration. Evaluate, recommend, and implement competitive benefits programs that balance employee needs and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the strategy, analysis, and ongoing management of employee benefits programs to align with company growth, business objectives, and talent attraction and retention goals.
  • Manage benefits systems and technology, collaborating closely with Payroll and HRIS teams to ensure accurate and seamless operations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and budgeting for benefits programs in partnership with the benefits broker. Monitor trends (including high-cost claims) and support forecasting and cost management.
  • Oversee wellness and disease management programs-evaluating effectiveness and identifying opportunities for enhancement or new initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA), including audits, reporting, and SOX requirements.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments and changes.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
  • Strong expertise in benefits program design, administration, and operations.
  • Solid understanding of relevant regulations (e.g., ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, HCRA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (ADP) and software (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.
  • High level of accountability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in HR or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CBP, CEBS, or CCP.
  • Experience with both fully insured and self-insured benefit plans.
  • Broader HR knowledge beyond benefits (e.g., compensation, compliance, or HR operations).
