As a BCBA leading this program, your role is designed to be impactful yet balanced, allowing you to focus on effective interventions without the overwhelming administrative workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) to develop a tailored proactive support plan.
• Design Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that emphasize antecedent-based interventions rather than reactive, consequence-driven approaches that trigger extension bursts, yes, we are not required to target the behaviors for decrease in this program.
• Supervise and guide a team providing structured behavioral respite care that ensures families receive meaningful relief without disrupting the client's routine.
• Prioritize engagement and proactive strategies over intensive skill acquisition, creating a supportive, enriched, and stress-free environment for both clients and caregivers.
• Conduct bi-weekly supervision of mid-level supervisors and behavior technicians, ensuring best practices are implemented effectively.
• Analyze data and refine interventions to ensure the team delivers the most evidence-based, practical support.
• Enjoy a lighter documentation workload-progress reports are only required annually, aligned with the client's Individual Program Plan (IPP), rather than the frequent updates required in intensive ABA models.

Compensation

• $75 - $80 per hour
• 110K- 115K depend on experience with only 30 hours billables
• ADP Bi-weekly pay with tracked hours submitted through ReThink, software
• Part-time position (not eligible for benefits such as health insurance, but eligible for PTO, and retirement plans)
• Full-time position is eligible for health care, dental, and vision, PTO, and retirement plan

Requirements

• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (Required)
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in direct ABA services and parent coaching
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, functional assessments, and behavior support strategies
• Excellent communication, data analysis, and organizational skills
• Ability to commute to Lafayette, CA 94549 or relocate before starting work
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
