What will your typical day look like?Job Overview: Deloitte Cloud Services reports to the office of the Global CTO and is responsible for delivering cloud solutions which accelerate the delivery of both revenue-generating and internal applications. Deloitte Cloud Services supports software development efforts and provides best practices which streamline and fully automate the release management pipeline.
You will be responsible for developing scalable microservices and APIs using C#, .NET Core, Dapr, and Kubernetes. You'll apply design patterns, contribute to solution architecture, and mentor junior developers, ensuring best practices in cloud and database integration.
Responsibilities:- Perform development of microservices and APIs using C#/.NET Core, Dapr, and Kubernetes.
- Apply design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Repository) to ensure maintainable code.
- Implementing scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- Integration with MongoDB and SQL databases.
- Participate in solution design and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Execute in several discipline areas to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high quality.
- Utilization of CI\CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, Github, etc.. and creating pipelines for automated build and releases.
- After hours on-call support occasionally required.

Enough about us, let's talk about youPrimary Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or relevant experience and accomplishments.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (Python preferred)
- Experience with API development and the CRUD model
- Understand how to automate builds for developer environments from development through production within a Continuous Delivery model.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and Dapr.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and have worked on a Scrum team.
- Knowledge of SQL, and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
- Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel ~10%
Preferred Qualifications:- 3-5 years of development experience on a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with message-based systems and event driven architecture
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
