Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The B2B Training Safety Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a consistent, high-standard safety environment across all StrataTech enterprise client training programs. This role ensures that training sites, lab environments, and field-adjacent instruction settings meet applicable OSHA, NFPA, and client-specific safety requirements at all times. The Safety Manager works alongside the Lead Instructor and ETO leadership to ensure that safety culture is embedded in every day of training, not treated as a standalone topic. This role is ideal for a seasoned safety professional with a background in industrial, electrical, or mission-critical construction environments who is ready to apply that expertise in a workforce training setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Site Safety Oversight • Ensure all training facilities, lab environments, and equipment stations meet applicable OSHA general industry and construction safety standards before and during each program delivery • Conduct pre-program safety walkthroughs and document findings with corrective action timelines • Verify that PPE is available, appropriate, and being used correctly by all participants and instructors throughout each training day • Confirm fire suppression systems, emergency egress routes, and first aid resources are accessible and current at each training location • Monitor training activities in real time and intervene immediately when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed

Program Safety Content Delivery • Deliver or co-deliver safety-specific content within the training program including hazardous energy control, arc flash and shock hazard management, PPE selection, and fire prevention awareness • Facilitate LOTO demonstrations and multi-source isolation exercises as part of structured applied learning activities • Lead hazard recognition scenarios and pre-task planning exercises including JHA and JSA completion using client-specific documentation forms • Provide fire suppression system awareness training covering clean agent systems including FM-200, Novec 1230, and CO2 as relevant to the training environment • Support arc flash label reading exercises and connect NFPA 70E content to practical field application

Incident Prevention and Response • Serve as the primary safety point of contact for all training program incidents, near misses, and unsafe condition reports • Conduct root cause analysis on all incidents and submit documentation to ETO leadership within 24 hours • Maintain an incident and near-miss log across all active training programs with confirmed resolution status for each finding • Coordinate with ETO leadership and client safety personnel on any incident requiring formal documentation or client notification • Establish and communicate stop-work authority expectations clearly to all participants at the start of each program

Instructor and Participant Safety Readiness • Verify that all instructors hold current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification and applicable safety credentials before delivering training • Conduct participant safety orientations at the start of each program cohort • Observe instructor delivery for safety culture and compliance and provide feedback to ETO leadership • Confirm participant familiarity with site-specific safety requirements and client documentation standards before applied learning activities begin

QUALIFICATIONS

Required • 5 or more years of experience in a safety coordination, safety management, or equivalent role in an industrial, electrical, or construction environment • Current OSHA 30 Construction or OSHA 30 General Industry certification • Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards • Current CPR and First Aid certification • Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-through • Ability to travel to client training sites as required • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred • Background in mission-critical construction, data center construction, or high-voltage electrical environments • Familiarity with clean agent fire suppression systems including FM-200, Novec 1230, and CO2 • Experience with hazardous energy control programs and multi-source isolation in complex electrical systems • Familiarity with InfraLink or equivalent digital LOTO and work permit management platforms • Prior experience supporting workforce training or apprenticeship programs in a safety capacity • NFPA 70E Qualified Person credential or equivalent • CSP, ASP, or equivalent safety certification

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Site Standards Every training site meets OSHA and client safety requirements at all times. No active deficiency goes undocumented or unresolved beyond 24 hours.

Incident Response All incidents and near misses are documented and a root cause summary is delivered to ETO leadership within 24 hours of the event.

Participant Readiness All participants receive a safety orientation before entering any applied learning activity. Instructor certifications are verified before program launch.

Proactive Communication Safety concerns are escalated to ETO leadership before they surface from the client or from participants. No surprises.

Content Delivery Safety-specific program content is delivered accurately, confidently, and in a manner appropriate for experienced tradespeople.

• Competitive base compensation • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with matching • Life insurance and employee assistance program • Professional development support • A growing enterprise training portfolio with room to advance
