Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable cloud environments using Terraform and Packer, along with a software engineering mindset focused on developing clean, reusable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop and manage Terraform modules and Packer images for automated infrastructure deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to implement secure and scalable cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and cloud platform issues.
• Perform code reviews and ensure infrastructure follows security and engineering best practices.
• Monitor and optimize Azure environments for performance, availability, security, and cost.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Leverage AI-assisted and modern development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Build scalable and reusable cloud automation solutions that improve reliability and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software engineering or cloud engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Packer.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong programming or scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, security, identity management, TCP/IP, and firewall concepts.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
