Job Description

YOUR IMPACT
Our institutional sales team drives professional B2B sales, establishing and growing partnerships with Fortune 1000, Forbes 250, and high growth/emerging growth organizations. This role involves direct C-level engagement, offering our financial planning services as an employment benefit for their executives and employees.

As a Regional Business Developer, you will leverage connectivity across the firm for introductions to C-suite decision-makers across corporate America, with the purpose of raising awareness for the value that our services provide to both the company and its executives and employees. You will form meaningful and influential relationships with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, and other key stakeholders to advise them on how to successfully design and implement financial planning programs as a key element of their organization's total rewards strategy. As the corporate sponsored financial planning benefits space becomes more crowded, you will position our market-leading offering as the clear choice for organizations that are willing to make a strategic investment in the financial wellbeing of their most critical human capital.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Partner with regional and national leadership to drive commercial success for the firm.
  • Leverage your sales experience and operational background to help achieve profitable growth for the business.
  • Consistently generate referrals and growth opportunities by strategically activating firmwide resources and cultivating deep external relationships.
  • Form meaningful and influential relationships with C-Suite, Board of Director stakeholders, and key decisionmakers at large prospect organizations (i.e., Fortune 1000, Forbes 250 and high growth/emerging growth organizations) to quickly develop credibility as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, total reward packages and financial planning.
  • Clearly communicate our value proposition to the organization and its executives, including an emphasis on the strategic impact and unique benefits of our offering, including our proprietary investment platform.
  • Effectively respond to pushback in high impact settings, overcoming obstacles and influence senior decision-makers (CEO, CFO, CHRO) to prioritize and implement our services as a leading component of their organization's talent strategy.
  • Lead the regional marketing process inclusive of strategy, program design, meeting flow, strategic positioning, delivery of presentations, events and proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Lead Goldman Sachs Ayco regional OneGS strategy for respective region, representing our business by collaborating with client coverage leadership across the Goldman Sachs franchise commercial businesses and client relationships.
  • Partner with dedicated sales support team and have ultimate responsibility for regional pipeline and lead generation process.
  • Actively mentor and develop dedicated Analyst/Associate support as next generation of commercial leadership.
