Full Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY

The Product Management Officer is responsible for the planning, development, enhancement, and execution of retail banking products throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer and business requirements, supporting product strategy, and working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Digital Banking, and Information Technology to ensure product performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals are achieved.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for assigned retail banking products and services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products, including deposit accounts, digital banking services, debit cards, and other consumer banking solutions.
  • Evaluate product opportunities, including financial viability, competitive positioning, operational impact, and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that differentiate products in the marketplace.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Track product deficiencies and enhancement requests, taking a lead role in coordinating issue resolution with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain logs of product issues, including discovery dates, action plans, and resolution dates.
  • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to support product development and innovation initiatives.
  • Lead idea generation and support the development of new retail products, services, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain product-related policies, procedures, disclosures, and documentation in partnership with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Audit.
  • Provide product support, training, and guidance to frontline team members and other internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to management committees and Executive Management regarding product performance, initiatives, and recommendations.
  • Support product launches, marketing campaigns, system conversions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Digital Banking, Operations, Technology and all other relevant teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of retail products and services.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: College degree with majors in Finance, Marketing, or business-related discipline preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum AVP 3-5 + years, VP 5-7 + years of progressive banking experience
    • 5-7 + years' experience managing deposit products, digital banking services, consumer banking products, and cross-functional strategic initiatives is strongly preferred


Skills/Ability:

  • Knowledge of retail banking regulations, including Truth in Savings (Reg DD), Regulation E, UDAAP, and deposit account compliance requirements preferred.
  • Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and product management tools preferred.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare business cases supporting product recommendations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across departments without direct authority.


Pay Range:

AVP $ 88,400 - $102,300

VP $116,700 - $ 130,500
