Position Summary

This individual's mission is to drive automation through an integrated suite of enterprise systems and technologies, streamlining business operations. In this role, you will serve as an Enterprise Application and Infrastructure subject matter expert who will partner with various departmental stakeholders and team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions that can scale and support the company's growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • System Analysis and Design: Analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing solutions to meet business needs.
  • Configuration and Implementation: Configuring, testing, and implementing various modules and functionalities of enterprise systems.
  • Integration Management: Working with middleware technologies and APIs for system integrations.
  • Project Leadership: Leading or contributing to system implementations, enhancements, and support initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with business users, IT team members, and stakeholders to deliver solutions and resolve issues.
  • Technical Guidance: Providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
  • Production Support and Incident Management: Handling production support, incident management, and defect resolution.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional business partners to understand their business problems and develop technology solutions to support our operations
  • Analyze current business processes, perform analysis and translate the business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Create documentation artifacts - Functional and Technical Specifications, KB/runbooks, Data Flow Diagrams and Business Architecture Diagrams.
  • Design and build scalable solutions, including customizations, workflows, automations, integrations and reporting.
  • Develop and execute test plans for identified features, lead unit and system integration test with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and fix production issues, prioritizing them against the existing backlog based on severity and impact.
  • Support the business process transformation initiatives to improve efficiencies around critical activities.
  • Work closely with both external and internal department colleagues, system vendors, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and provide integrated solutions based upon Whittier Trust's standard, and occasionally customized, computer/systems architecture and applications
  • Support the information technology infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and scheduling services are kept at the highest possible levels commensurate with the desired services
  • Maintain regular user contact, attend relevant meetings, and actively participate in organizational activities related to the information technology department.
  • Conduct solution walkthroughs, application demos and user training sessions.
  • Identify and resolve problems and issues that arise in and outside of the department
  • Helps to ensure that all systems and applications are compatible and consistent with the installed base of information systems and in compliance with established architectural and technical standards
  • Helps to identify and recommend new and improved use of computer applications to enhance current processes, achieve cost advantages, and/or improve customer service


QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of experience in IT industry with an emphasis on client service
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Project Management or similar
  • Exposure to network security and adherence to company policy in a regulated environment.
  • Strong background in general networking (TCP/IP) and some routing, including VLANs and proxies.
  • System management including, but not limited to log analysis, traffic analysis, anti-virus monitoring, patch deployment, backup/restore testing and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with current Windows server, workstation, and applications platforms.
  • Experience with mobile device management platforms.
  • Exposure to network security and adherence to company policy in a regulated environment.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.
  • Must be thorough and detail oriented while maintaining efficiency.
  • Must be hands-on and have a passion for IT.
  • Current certifications such as Network+, CCNA, MCSE equivalents.
  • Ability and desire to keep certification current and continue learning is a requirement.
