The AVP Production & Sourcing Operations serves as the strategy and operations leader for the Executive Vice President of Global Production & Sourcing and leads the administration and governance of PDP across functions. The role translates enterprise and functional priorities into a focused agenda, disciplined operating rhythm, clear decisions, and coordinated execution across a complex global organization.
Working across Brand, Merchandising, Design, Planning, Finance, Technology, Product Development, Production, Sourcing, Materials, Technical Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, and regional teams, the AVP connects strategy, decisions, communications, and execution. The AVP and their organization establish the common PDP operating framework while preserving the flexibility required for different brands, categories, product types, and levels of risk.

Your ImpactStrategy, Planning, and Executive Leadership Enablement- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Executive Vice President, helping shape the global Production & Sourcing agenda and convert strategy into clear priorities, choices, and actions.
- Lead annual and multi-year planning, priority setting, goal alignment, and portfolio management across the global organization.
- Prepare decision briefs, recommendations, presentations, talking points, and leadership materials that translate complex business issues into concise, actionable insights.
- Bring strong visioning and a future-focused mindset, anticipating how customer expectations, business models, technology, and partner capabilities will reshape product creation and translating that foresight into a clear, actionable direction.
- Help focus leadership time and resources on the opportunities and risks with the greatest enterprise and business impact.
PDP Administration, Operating Rhythm, and Governance- Design and administer the enterprise PDP operating architecture across brands and functions, including differentiated product creation pathways, milestone and evidence standards, governance forums, decision rights, escalation routes, and integration points with planning and delivery processes.
- Establish clear agendas, decision points, evidence requirements, accountable owners, timelines, and follow-through for PDP milestones, leadership priorities, and cross-functional decisions.
- Maintain an integrated enterprise view of PDP pathways, critical initiatives, commitments, performance measures, decision dependencies, capacity constraints, and risks across functions, brands, regions, and strategic partners.
- Establish and continuously improve PDP decision rights and escalation processes so issues are surfaced early, decisions are made by the lowest appropriate level, unresolved trade-offs reach the right leaders quickly, and actions are completed on time.
- Codify and maintain PDP standards, playbooks, governance routines, role clarity, and lessons learned; scale practices that improve speed and decision quality and retire duplicate or non-value-added work.
- Partner with Brand, Merchandising, Design, Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Technology, Product Development, Production & Sourcing, and other functional leaders to connect product creation, business, financial, organizational, technology, and transformation plans.
Enterprise Performance and Executive Visibility- Build a concise executive view of PDP performance across decision velocity, product readiness, first-time-right execution, sample reduction, cost, margin, capacity, quality, delivery, speed, supplier performance, early stops before sunk cost, scaling of winning products, and transformation outcomes.
- Integrate information from global and regional teams into clear dashboards, scorecards, risk summaries, and decision materials.
- Identify trends, gaps, and cross-functional dependencies and convert them into recommendations for the Executive Vice President and leadership team.
- Ensure consistent definitions, measures, and messages across business reviews and leadership communications.
- Coordinate executive preparation for key enterprise, brand, supplier, and milestone meetings.
Transformation and Continuous Improvement- Lead the enterprise PDP transformation portfolio sponsored by the Executive Vice President, from problem definition and future-state design through pilots, recommendations, implementation, adoption, and sustained business results.
- Integrate transformation roadmaps across the PDP operating model, differentiated creation pathways, process, data, technology, 3D, automation, artificial intelligence, partner integration, and organizational capability-using AI and emerging tools to simplify work, accelerate decisions, and unlock new ways of working across the product creation system.
- Apply structured problem solving to ambiguous, cross-functional business challenges and mobilize the right teams to deliver solutions.
- Monitor progress, interdependencies, expected benefits, adoption, and risks across the transformation portfolio and escalate barriers with clear choices.
- Create a disciplined cycle of experimentation, learning, and scaling that tests AI-enabled capabilities and new ways of working, measures their impact, builds adoption, and continually evolves the PDP operating model as business needs, technology, and partner capabilities change.
Executive Communications and Organizational Effectiveness- Shape clear, consistent communications for leadership meetings, associate forums, organizational updates, and key stakeholder engagements.
- Connect enterprise strategy with functional priorities, decisions, accountabilities, and expected outcomes.
- Partner with Human Resources and functional leaders on organizational planning, talent priorities, leadership-team effectiveness, and change adoption.
- Build a culture of transparency, accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Handle sensitive business and organizational matters with sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.

Your Experience- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, finance, strategy, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant consulting experience preferred.
- Ten or more years of progressive experience in enterprise strategy, operations, product creation, transformation, consulting, or executive leadership enablement within a complex global organization, including experience leading teams and cross-functional governance.
- Experience supporting a senior executive or leadership team and managing priorities across a highly matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end product creation, global production and sourcing, planning, materials, technical design, quality, supply chain, and retail operations; demonstrated experience redesigning operating models or product development processes in apparel or consumer products is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to convert complex information into clear analysis, executive recommendations, and compelling communications.
- Proven success leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional transformation from diagnosis and future-state design through governance, implementation, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong business and financial acumen, analytical capability, and understanding of performance measures, operating reviews, and risk management.
