The purpose of this role is to directly support the origination of new transactions across the Energy & Materials sector and Industrials & Technology sector and deliver best in class service to clients and internal stakeholders across (Corporate and Institutional Banking) CIB.
AVP, Global Trade Solutions Sales Manager you will:
- Originate and self-manage a pipeline of new customers / new deals in the commodities sector (primarily energy) and follow the end-to-end sales process
- Work in close partnership with (Global Trade Solutions) GTS Sales Managers across the sector to further identify and develop new business opportunities
- Support GTS Sales Managers with client engagement, attending exploratory calls with Corporates to understand their working capital requirements and strategic challenges
- Take ownership of deal logistics, including but not limited to the production of deal profitability calculations and associated transactional analysis
- Develop client pitching material to support client engagement that clearly articulates a specific solution for clients and how it addresses the pre-defined challenge or opportunity they are facing
- Provide support to the Energy & Materials, and Industrials & Transportation team with all associated deal admin, including the entering of transaction information in key systems such as (Client Management Environment) CME
- Provide succinct but informative updates on transactions to senior GTS stakeholders when required
- Develop collaborative working relationships with a range of functions within GTS in support of client delivery, including but not limited to Operations, Product Management, Distribution and Risk
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Relevant experience, ideally in Trade Finance or with exposure to Trade Finance solutions
- Demonstrable experience being in a client facing role, or a role that directly support client interaction
- Strong analytical experience and capability
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary teams and a collaborative style to addressing client challenges
- Strong interest in developing technical Trade Finance skills and experience
- Comfortable working in a fast and dynamic team that engages with a sector that moves at pace

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
