Automotive Service Advisor ResponsibilitiesAs an Automotive Service Advisor, you'll serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Schedule service appointments
- Write accurate repair orders (ROs)
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and document vehicle issues
- Recommend factory maintenance and additional services
- Prepare estimates for parts and labor
- Obtain customer approvals
- Communicate repair progress and timelines
- Coordinate repairs with technicians and dispatch
- Review completed repairs with customers
- Process repair orders accurately
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high CSI scores
- Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business
Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience
- At least 1 year of dealership experience required
- Subaru experience is a plus
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
