JOB SUMMARY The Automotive Program Manager serves management in advisory capacity, providing information and recommendations regarding automotive fleet resources of the region. Automotive management consists of coordination, control, service and maintenance of the automotive fleet.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in an office setting.
MAJOR DUTIES - Manage the automotive fleet program for the FBI automotive fleet.
- Performs a variety of administrative functions relative to fleet operations for a field office. Responsible for the coordination, development, and planning of the regional automotive fleet management program.
- Sets program area goals and objectives based on applicable measurement tools and research methodology.
- Makes budgetary projections during fiscal year and long-term budget planning for the field office automotive fleet.
- Reviews the quality control mechanism used to evaluate the safety and preventative maintenance services provided to the regional automotive fleet and conducts inspections of the automotive maintenance and repair functions to ensure repairs are in conformance with contract specifications and applicable safety standards.
- Prepares a variety of oral and written reports to management officials concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of the automotive fleet program and is responsible for presenting and explaining impact findings on overall management of the automotive fleet program.
- Responsible for a large array of specialty vehicles, all terrain vehicles, box & cargo trucks, and towing and & recovery vehicles.

Specialized Experience (SE): GS 13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS 12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
- Planned, developed, and coordinated an automotive fleet program or similar type program.
- Researched, analyzed, or evaluated advancements and improvements in the automotive industry to determine if new types of vehicles would be viable to fleet operations.
- Set goals and objectives to improve efficiencies of program operations.
- Analyzed and evaluated cost data, financial reports, expenditures, and blanket purchase agreements to set budgetary projection.
- Communicated orally and in writing with employees, mangers, other government agencies and/or the private sector.
In addition to the above Specialized Experience, the applicant must possess leadership experience which must be addressed in the resume. Education Education

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Positions with fitness for duty requirements or those that require international travel may require proof of certain vaccinations.
- The selectee will be required to serve a one-year probationary period for initial assignment to a supervisory position.
- Required Leadership Training: All FBI supervisors promoted after January 2022 are required to attend and complete the Training Division's Supervisor Essentials Program within 365 days from initial assignment into a supervisory position. Supervisors will need to complete both the "Mentoring and Coaching" and "Performance Appraisals" courses as part of the Supervisor Essentials program. The Supervisor Essentials course is a pre-requisite for the new Leading People (Virtual) and face-to-face version (VLP) that will be offered beginning the 2nd Quarter of 2022.
- Limited Movement: Policy has been implemented wherein support employees entering a position may be precluded from moving to another position within the Bureau through reassignment or change to a lower grade for a minimum of 12 months. HRD will waive this limited movement policy for qualified employees, who have received an official notification letter that their current position is being relocated due to an organizational restructuring initiative, so those employees can compete for a position elsewhere. Voluntarily leaving a position with a relocation incentive may result in loss of that incentive. Please notate that you have received an official notification letter within your application.
