What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in oil and gas automation.
- Minimum of 2 years in field commissioning or controls engineering.
- Advanced expertise in PLC programming with Allen-Bradley platforms, including PlantPAx systems.
- Strong skills in HMI development using FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
- Extensive experience in field implementation, including loop checks, functional testing, and system startup validation.
- Robust troubleshooting abilities across control systems, networking, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with oil and gas production processes and industrial communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, serial, and wireless.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as API, NEC, ISA, and procedures like MOC and PSSR.
- Willingness to travel, work extended hours, and support on-call rotations.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other automation software and tools.
- Certifications in controls and safety standards.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols relevant to industrial controls.
