About the JobWe're looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer who enjoys finding smarter ways to get work done.
You'll partner across Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, and the business to automate data and reporting workflows, reduce spreadsheet-dependent processes, strengthen data quality, and create reusable solutions that give teams more capacity for higher-value work.
What You'll Do- Identify and prioritize high-value automation opportunities across data, reporting, and engineering workflows
- Build and maintain automation using SQL, Python, ETL, workflow technologies, and approved AI-assisted development tools
- Automate data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and distribution
- Replace manual and spreadsheet-dependent workflows with scalable technical solutions
- Support Power BI data preparation, dataset refreshes, publishing, and reporting automation
- Build reusable tools, data-quality checks, exception reporting, and process controls
- Troubleshoot automations, data-quality issues, integrations, and recurring technical processes
- Partner across technical and business teams to design, document, and deliver maintainable solutions
What You'll Bring- 3+ years of experience in data automation, software development, data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or a related field
- Strong SQL development, troubleshooting, and optimization skills
- Proficiency with Python or a comparable scripting/programming language
- Experience with ETL/ELT, workflow automation, data pipelines, and scheduled processes
- Working knowledge of Power BI and related data and reporting workflows
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and data quality
- Ability to translate business processes into reliable, reusable technical solutions
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
- Healthcare, HEDIS, compliance, audit, or regulated-industry experience is a plus
