WHAT TO EXPECT Your day to day will look like this:
- Conduct audits and control reviews to assess the effectiveness of our compliance and risk management practices.
- Partner with internal teams to identify risks, address gaps, and implement practical remediation plans.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by ensuring the timely collection and organization of required evidence and documentation.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure compliance levels and track evolving risk exposures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, processes, and awareness programs to strengthen our culture of compliance and security.
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR The following experience will help you succeed in this role. However, if you don't meet all these criteria, we will be happy to consider your application, because we're looking for potential first.
- Bilingual proficiency required (French and English, spoken and written)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and compliance, including control testing, gap analysis, and the development of recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, NIST CSF, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
- In-depth understanding of security controls and risk management, with the ability to identify non-compliance issues and recommend effective mitigation measures.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and self-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
