Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Jersey RN License required.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience or 2 years with management experience.
• Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently pursuing one.
• BLS Health Care provider certification from the American Heart Association required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care delivery on an assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations in the Medical Surgical Unit.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of care.
• Exhibit leadership and critical thinking in problem-solving.
• Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure.
• Drive initiatives to positively influence patient care and experience.
• Assist the Director with unit management, staff scheduling, evaluations, and quality improvement.
