Pay: $85,000-$95,000 annually

Responsibilities

As a Assistant Chief Engineer you would be responsible for: Supports the chief Engineer in managing engineering operation, maintenance, personal, safety and technical compliance.

  • Supervise engineering operations and ensure equipment and systems operate safety and efficiently.
  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for Rooms, machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, generators. And other technical equipment.
  • Lead and supervise engineering staff, including assigning work, monitoring perforce, and providing training.
  • control engineering expenses and assist with budgeting, purchasing, and cost management.
  • Conduct safety inspection and ensure proper procedures such as Lockout/Tagout and permit to work are allowed.


Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant technical certifications or licenses depending on the industry and local regulation.
  • 5-10 years of engineering or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.


It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Ability to lead and supervise engineering staff and contractor
  • Good communication, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, or respond to emergencies, where required.
