As an
Associate Technical Partner Manager (ATPM) at Yext, you will support, maintain, optimize, and expand a portfolio of integrations across the Yext Publisher Network. You will troubleshoot integration issues, contribute to the onboarding of new publishers, monitor and analyze system health data, and work with internal teams and publisher partners to improve integration health.
This is a technical, hands-on role that goes beyond traditional operations work. ATPMs write code to handle configuration updates, test fixes, and small improvements with the help of AI coding tools. You will also help shape integration changes by investigating issues, clarifying requirements, and writing specs that Engineering builds from.
You will work on scoped problems with guidance from senior team members, and grow toward owning larger projects independently. The ideal candidate is technical, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving skills, a passion for data analysis, APIs, and integrations, and curiosity about what AI tools make possible.
What You'll DoPublisher Integration & Management- Own a portfolio of publisher integrations, accountable for their continued health, and contribute meaningfully to the support of tier 1 publishers.
- Monitor integration health using SQL, Snowflake, Python, Grafana, dashboards, and system logs; identify discrepancies and drive their resolution.
- Contribute meaningfully to the onboarding of new publishers, following established workflows and suggesting process improvements.
- Investigate and troubleshoot data sync and display issues, exploring documentation and available tools before escalating.
- QA and test new fields, features, and integrations with guidance from senior team members.
Technical Troubleshooting & AI-Assisted Development- Write integration-specific code using AI coding tools like Claude Code (configuration updates, test fixes, and small improvements), submitted through code review with senior guidance.
- Read and write scripts (Python preferred) to automate monitoring and troubleshooting tasks, reducing manual work.
- Write complex SQL queries against Snowflake to identify trends and surface insights on integration health.
- Analyze API responses, data pipelines, and system logs to diagnose issues and identify root cause within your publisher area.
- Develop expertise in at least one tool or system beyond your publisher network (e.g., Snowflake, Gerrit, Grafana, Jenkins).
Collaboration & Communication- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Client Success, Support) to keep operations running smoothly.
- Serve as a primary contact for your publishers' technical teams, troubleshooting issues and sending clear follow-ups with action items.
- Contribute to specs for engineering work with senior oversight, clarifying requirements and judging feasibility.
- Communicate technical issues and business impact clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including clients.
- Document findings and keep internal knowledge bases current so others can move faster.
What You Bring- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot technical issues: working knowledge of SQL, Python, and APIs.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted development and willingness to learn tools like Claude Code to expand what you can deliver.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in both structured and unstructured workflows while improving processes.
- Technical curiosity and willingness to self-teach in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both engineers and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects at once and knowing when to ask for help.
Nice to have- 2+ years of experience in technical support, integration management, consulting, or related fields.
- Exposure to AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) or experience contributing code through a review process.
