Therefore, in order to be considered for this position, you must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.* About the Job The Hybrid Platforms Technical Marketing, Evangelism, and Strategic Initiatives team is seeking an Associate Technical Marketing Manager/Engineer to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help shape how customers, partners, and the broader market experience Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat's hybrid cloud platforms. You will have a focus on creating compelling technical assets that showcase the power of Red Hat platforms in helping developers and platform engineers deliver business value. As part of the technical marketing organization, you will become a subject matter expert in Kubernetes, OpenShift, application delivery, software supply chain security (including AI/ML workloads), and platform engineering principles. In this role, you will help create, drive, and organize the outbound technical marketing activities and assets for product management, engineering, and solutions architects (partner and customer) to drive success for Red Hat Hybrid Platforms' products and offerings. Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for Red Hat and its wider community of customers, partners, and users within open source communities and at industry events. This individual will also help engage with Red Hat customers to drive their success and gather product feedback. Primary activities involve hands-on creation and design of product demonstrations and technical content (technical blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, etc.). Experience with or educational background in cloud-native technologies, software development life cycles (SDLC), and related topics is required. Experience with Kubernetes and containers is preferred. What You Will Do 3 Collaborate with product management teams to understand and assist with prioritizing feature and solutions definition 3 Work with product marketing to help align outbound activities with market directions and support the roadmap and releases of our offerings 3 Participate in technical aspects of go-to-market engagements like live streams, roadshows, workshops, webinars, demos of offerings and solutions, industry and partner events, and sales enablement and training 3 Collaborate with sales teams where required in high-touch accounts worldwide through close engagement with field sales and services 3 Engage with field and product management teams to understand and communicate customer requirements, expectations, and pain points to engineering product teams, including assisting with feature prioritization and gap analysis. 3 Conduct research to inform awareness of customer needs and competitive offerings 3 Create technical marketing collateral (internal and external) alongside product marketing teams, including technical presentations, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, web, social media, and more 3 Create and carry out solutions demos for use externally with trade shows, customers, and more 3 Work with alliance and ecosystem partners through the alliance teams to develop joint value propositions 3 Create other technical marketing proof points while working with other teams that are specific to performance benchmarks, reference architectures, etc. What You Will Bring 3 Ability to articulate the technical value proposition of our offerings and evangelize both solutions and stand-alone offerings internally and externally to both partners and customers 3 BS degree in computer science, data science or similar; or equivalent experience 3 Experience with web application development and CI/CD practices in any language (Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Go, etc.) 3 Domain knowledge and experience with open source projects 3 Solid written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills 3 Strong skills in deciphering and understanding technical requirements and use cases 3 Ability to influence others in a cross-functional environment with a remote and global workforce 3 Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities while working in a highly complex environment #LI-HM1 The salary range for this position is $75,320.00 - $120,480.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
