Full Job Description
Location: United States - Eden Prairie, MN

Pay: $85,200 - 127,600

The Supply Chain Resiliency Associate Manager will lead Tennant's critically purchased components to world class on time delivery performance. This highly visible role will identify companywide component risks working with global leaders in manufacturing, quality, continuous improvement, material control, strategic sourcing and sales. The successful candidate will have manufacturing, high critical thinking skills, drive to solve problems and excellent analytical skills. The candidate should be excited to work in a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances in home, office, and manufacturing environments.

Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performance management
  • Drive purchase component performance improvement plan (through ownership and influence) from creation to completion.
  • Work jointly with suppliers to prioritize performance improvement actions based on overall impact.
  • Solicit support from engineering and continuous improvement to help improve supplier performance; potentially working onsite at suppliers for extended periods during production hours.
  • Oversee improvement metrics.
  • Establish business cases for investments and/or prioritization
  • Identify and drive necessary mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate internal communication and prioritization with constrained suppliers
  • Maintain corrective action plans and provide updates at various internal meetings
  • Improve supply continuity & agility

  • Leverage data-driven analyses to evaluate future risks
  • Drive actionable plans to mitigate impact
  • Communicate all potential risks across the organization
  • Collaborate internally and externally to create solutions

Required Experience and Education
  • 3-5 years in manufacturing environment; production leadership, material control, finance, or sourcing
  • Ability to translate technical data into meaningful messages for internal and external audiences
  • Project management, organizational and time management abilities
  • Broad perspective: has ability to "connect the dots" and utilize strategic thinking; demonstrates curiosity.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience effectively collaborating with all levels of independent contributors and leaders across multiple organizations and functions.
  • SAP S4 Hana experience preferred
  • Power BI experience a plus

Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
