About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to serve as an Associate or Senior Associate on our Transactions and Finance team. You will drive the transaction process with corporate tax buyers and clean energy project developers / manufacturers, and will have the opportunity to take an active role in other important aspects of our business including developing new financial and software products to support our clients.

What You'll Do
  • Lead transactions between Fortune 500 corporations and leading clean energy companies
    • Oversee critical negotiations between tax credit buyers, seller, and their counsel. Play a key role in moving transactions forward to successful closing
    • Lead Reunion team members in collecting, reviewing and synthesizing due diligence documentation
  • Manage relationships with key customers and partners
    • Own relationships with leading clean energy developers and manufacturers, ensuring that we are their "first call" when looking for tax credit and other financing
    • Participate in webinars, conference panels, and write technical content to help elevate Reunion position as a trusted expert in tax credits and project finance
  • Develop creative solutions to scale our work
    • Play a key role in developing Reunion's industry-standard playbook for negotiating and diligencing tax credit transactions
    • Work closely with our software team to continue developing our compliance software products for PWA, FEOC, etc.
    • Collaborate with Reunion's leadership team to think about the next offering we should provide to our clean energy clients

What You'll Need
  • Transactional experience in clean energy finance or tax credits; our ideal candidate has experience working in a transactional role in tax equity, project finance, banking, or law for renewable energy infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with technology and other hacks to get a lot done with limited resources
  • Ability to read and interpret highly technical legalese; you must be comfortable learning and operating within the regulatory framework for clean energy finance and tax credit transfers
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of deeply relevant experience working in a high-growth environment
