Associate Project Manager - New Installation

Your main responsibilities

As an Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for full cycle project management of high-quality, financially successful new installations. You will collaborate with sales representatives, field superintendents and customers to meet specifications and resolve technical issues.

Project Management:
• Oversee new installation projects to ensure efficient, profitable close-out
• Provide approved submittals and ensure timely delivery of materials from vendors
• Collaborate with the Field Superintendents to monitor job progress and address potential delays with action plans
• Partner with Engineering and local & regional management for successful completion of the project
• Maintain vendor relationships and assist with monthly forecasting and budget planning
• Identify change notice opportunities, prepare paperwork, and secure customer approvals before work begins

Financial Ownership:
• Manage project revenue, size, and adherence to fulfillment guidelines
• Ensure timely invoicing, targeting 90% payment prior to elevator turnover

Customer Relationship Management:
• Establish and maintain critical customer relationships to support project success.
• Submit certified payroll, including tracking worker hours, wages, and fringe benefits in accordance with prevailing wage laws

Quality & Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with customer and Schindler requirements for quality, performance, and passenger safety

• Participate in a three-day in-person onboarding training focused on New Installation (NI) tools and processes

Base Salary $113,400 - $141,700

The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
