Team Description:

Designing & building physical infrastructure is a critical step to scaling Neuralink. The EPC Team at Neuralink is looking for a driven Associate Project Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. As part of the team, you will play an instrumental role in designing, planning, and constructing our campus and facilities. This position requires an outgoing and highly organized mindset, an ability to perform at a high level on a consistent basis, a desire to work on multi-disciplinary projects, and an excitement about Neuralink's mission!

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Capital process planning for construction projects from initial budgetary inception to approved, and executed on time and within budgetary constraints.
  • Resolve construction conflicts in the field and in real time
  • Contractor scheduling to ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Sourcing materials and equipment required for delivering construction projects
  • Reviewing and approving payment applications from contractors
  • Responding to, or sourcing responses for RFIs related to constructability or deviations from construction drawings or manufacturer specifications
  • Construction review meetings and reports with internal stakeholders at major milestones during construction
  • Quality control reviews and reports to document the quality of constructed items
  • RFIs and Submittals for the design team to review and approve during construction projects

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, architectural or similar engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing commercial construction or in tenant improvement projects, specifically for industrial buildings such as laboratories, clean rooms, or manufacturing facilities.
  • Evidence of exceptional ability.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in site greenfield site design and build out including grading, roadway, pavements, utilities, and stormwater management plans
  • Experience managing construction projects in hyper-scaling and start-up tech companies
  • Experience with structural engineering, deep and shallow foundation designs, steel, concrete, and other building materials
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Experience in Mechanical, electrical and process piping construction
  • Experience managing external consultants and contractors from design to substantial completion


Expected Compensation:

The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the following range. Your actual base pay will be determined by your job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We also believe in aligning our employees' success with the company's long-term growth. As such, in addition to base salary, Neuralink offers equity compensation (in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSU)) for all full-time employees.

Base Salary Range:

$71,000-$119,000 USD
